Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

This privacy policy covers personal data processed through peptichems.com. The data controller is PEPTICHEMS, reachable at support@peptichems.com.

2. What we process

The Site has no account registration, no order form and no payment flow, so the data processed is minimal:

  • Language preference: your chosen interface language (the pc_lang cookie) — 1 year.
  • Theme preference: your light/dark choice, stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent to the server.
  • Age verification: the date you confirmed being 18 or older (pc_age), kept in your browser's localStorage for 1 year and never sent to the server. No date of birth or identity document is requested or stored.
  • In-session interface state: two sessionStorage entries — one so the intro animation is not repeated within the same session (pc_splash), one so the page-transition animation knows which section you came from (pc_vtfrom). Both are interface state only, are never sent to the server, and are cleared when the tab closes.
  • Server access logs: IP address, user-agent, requested path and timestamp, retained by our hosting provider for security and fault diagnosis.
  • Browser language: the Accept-Language header is read for automatic language detection. It is evaluated at request time and not stored.

When you contact us via Instagram, Telegram or email, the information you share (handle, message content, inquiry details) is processed in order to handle that correspondence.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Operating the Site and remembering your preferences — legitimate interest / performance of the service.
  • Responding to your inquiry — pre-contractual negotiation and legitimate interest.
  • Security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis — legitimate interest and legal obligation.

4. Cookies

The Site sets strictly necessary / functional cookies only. There are no advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies, and no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable tracker is present.

  • pc_lang — your language preference, 1 year, first-party.

You may delete or block cookies in your browser settings; your language will then be re-detected from your browser on every visit.

5. External services

Interface typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which discloses your IP address to Google as part of that request. When you follow a link to Instagram or Telegram, that platform's own privacy policy applies. The Site does not embed tracking scripts from those platforms.

6. Transfers and retention

Your personal data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing. Our hosting and email providers are granted access only to the extent necessary to deliver the service. Server access logs are retained for up to 12 months; correspondence is retained for as long as the inquiry requires.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK (Art. 11) you have the right to access your data, to request correction, erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. Send your request to support@peptichems.com; we respond as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

8. Children's data

The Site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from that group.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy is updated, the new version is published on this page together with its revised date.
