N-Acetyl Semax Amidate
Scientific Profile
N-Acetyl Semax Amid is an acetylated and amidated heptapeptide analog of ACTH(4-7). In vitro studies demonstrate neuroprotective properties through upregulation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression.
Animal models show enhanced cognitive function and stress resistance through modulation of glutamatergic and dopaminergic systems. The N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal amidation significantly enhance its metabolic stability while maintaining receptor activation properties.
